**Freebird Market** & **10tation Event Catering** are looking for a dynamic and organized **Catering & Marketing Assistant** to join our team.

**About the Role**

You will play a key role in creating marketing pieces, supporting our Catering Team, and aid in ensuring smooth daily operations. You’ll also collaborate with management to plan and execute marketing initiatives. With the help of our design team, they will then be communicated to customers through our various direct and social media channels. You will also be handling phone inquiries, incoming orders and help with organizing event materials with the team. Your work will help us deliver exceptional experiences to clients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Developing a marketing calendar/program for 6-8 months of programs with management
- Answer phones and provide excellent customer service
- Accurately take and process catering orders
- Assist the Catering Manager with event logistics and administrative tasks
- Print labels and tent cards for events
- Coordinate with kitchen and delivery teams
- Update internal systems and track order details
- Maintain organized digital and physical files

**Technical Skills (Preferred but not all essential)**
- Graphic Design knowledge
- Copywriting skills
- Social Media Management
- Marketing expertise, including:

- Arranging communication channels and timelines
- Creating content in collaboration with BOH team and coordinating with Meagan and the design team

**Non-Technical Skills**
- Strong understanding of branding and marketing
- Culinary knowledge to effectively support catering and product marketing

**Back-of-House Details**
- Assist with menu design (from chefs)
- Create items in the database for in-store sales
- Create and manage items on the website for online sales

**General Skills & Qualifications**
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- A team player eager to learn and grow within the company
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or admin support is an asset
- Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
