Western Varieties Wholesale is currently hiring for the position of retail supervisor at our store located

in south east Edmonton.

The retail supervisor will support management in the execution of store related functions. Ensures an

excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean

and organized store. Models outstanding customer service.
- Assists management in the areas of merchandising, operations, customer service and inventory
- Manages the daily activity of the sales floor, backroom and cash office
- Creates a positive customer experience
- Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity
- Supports the manager with scheduling, tasks assigning, inventory control
- Ensures retail team executes tasks efficiently and according to standards; prioritizes as needed
- Communicates accurately and effectively with management and associates when setting and

addressing priorities; provides progress updates
- Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
- Partners with management on training associates
- Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and warehouse

and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
- Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment

Who We Are Looking For:

- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in Retail
- Available Saturdays from 9:30 to 5:30 and weekdays from 8:30 to 5:30 with extended evening and

weekend hours during the holidays.
- Demonstrated supervising and coordinating skills with the ability to positively influence staff to act

in the best interest of the company by providing advice, feedback and guidance to resolve problems
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills and ability to troubleshoot
- Capable of multitasking and prioritizing
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or in new situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and management
- Able to train others

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
