**Force Inspection Services** is a leading oilfield asset and tubular management and services company to the upstream oil and gas industry.  Its core business revolves around drill pipe, drill tools, sucker rods, casing and production tubing, coating services, and tubular products for production and completion. Force’s services include in-plant and mobile inspection, repair, machining, and manufacturing.

The Procurement & Payables Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and supplies required for our operational success. Responsible for managing the full purchasing cycle
- from issuing purchase orders to processing vendor payments
- this position collaborates closely with operational leaders to ensure teams are equipped with the supplies, parts, and tools they need to excel.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, tools, equipment and services of a routine nature, within established limits for quality, quantity and price guidelines.
- Responsible for maintaining a log on all unit expenditures.
- Prepares and reviews purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Confers with vendors to obtain product information such as price to ensure the best deal, availability and delivery schedule.
- Researches materials for price and quality.
- Monitors price increases and communicates necessary changes as required.
- Coordinates delivery and expediting of goods.
- Invites tenders; consults with suppliers and reviews quotations.
- Establishes and maintains contact with suppliers.
- Works within company purchasing policies and procedures.
- Fulfills purchase requests from internal clients in a timely manner, while meeting internal performance targets and guidelines.
- Source, secure and maintain vendor relationships, while balancing price, delivery and quality.
- Execute banking and treasury needs, such as online bill payments, process cheques, and supporting cash management.
- Supports and provides backup on other administrative duties as they arise.
- Complies with Force Inspection’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Post-secondary education in a related field (Accounting, Business Administration) is an asset
- 3+ years of experience in a related position is required
- Understanding of purchasing principles, techniques, practices and ethics.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work effectively with a team environment.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and productivity software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Quickbooks).

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
