**About Us**:
At Speed Mechanics and Continuum Health Centre, we help athletes, active adults, and clients in recovery move better, feel better, and live stronger lives. We’re growing fast—and we need a creative, consistent, and community-minded Social Media Specialist to help us amplify those stories online.

**The Role**:
You’ll create, schedule, and engage with content that highlights client wins, shares expert knowledge, and strengthens our digital presence across Instagram, Facebook, Google My Business, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll work alongside our coaches, practitioners, and in-house media team to bring our brand to life.

**This is a part-time, flexible role**—5 to 20 hours per week based on your skill and workflow speed.

**What Success Looks Like (First 30 Days)**:

- All weekly content is scheduled in Gym Lead Machine (GLM)
- Stories are posted Mon-Fri using real-time content captured from training/recovery sessions
- You’ve engaged daily with followers via DMs, comments, and post replies
- You’ve sourced at least 1-2 moments per week from the gym or clinic for use in content
- You’re communicating proactively with team members and delivering consistent, on-brand visuals and captions

**Required Availability**:

- Must be available for **some weekday evenings (3-7 PM)** to capture story content during our busiest hours
- Can work flexible hours remotely for scheduling and engagement
- Must be **based in Victoria, BC**, with the ability to be on-site regularly

**You Might Be a Great Fit If You**:

- Have experience using Canva and scheduling tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Gym Lead Machine
- Love storytelling through content and connecting with real people online
- Can write clean, confident captions that sound real—not robotic
- Are creative, resourceful, and solutions-focused
- Thrive in dynamic environments and can juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball

**Bonus Points For**:

- Prior experience in social media for health, fitness, or athletic brands
- Light video editing or reel creation experience
- Confidence capturing raw content on your phone in a high-energy gym or clinic setting

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
