Our team of digital marketing experts brings to the table decades of experience in online strategy, search engine optimization, website design, and more.

We're growing and expanding our digital marketing and web design services on Vancouver Island and on the lower mainland, and are looking to add a social media specialist to our growing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Content creation - photography and videography via smartphone.
- Graphic design (Canva) for video and photo editing.
- Knowledge of best social media practices, and comfort navigating platforms.
- Experience in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
- Comfortable using Meta to schedule social media content (static, stories, and reels)
- Comfortable in troubleshooting Meta Business Suite and assisting clients and businesses in providing access to our manager account.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Experience in growing social media content organically.
- Client communication and receiving and implementing feedback.

**Our Internal Strategy**

This role is split 50/50 between client-facing accounts, and continuing on (and open to improvement) for VDM's internal social media strategy. We will provide you access to events and experiences, reimbursed fully (or purchased in advance) by our company, for you to create highly community-based content. We will send you to events for you to capture live content, reels, and promote local community-oriented events. You'll be paid for your time on the road, time at events, and time to create content.

We offer a monthly budget for professional development with courses through Google, Hubspot, or are open to suggestions as well. Our team uses Harvest and Basecamp to track project status, and time track tasks, as well as Slack for communication.

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
