The company Shaping Spirit Sculptures is a team of two woman in a small studio in Metchosin. We are seeking a fun, driven, talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive website traffic. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement social media content calendars across various platforms
- Create engaging and shareable content, including text, image, and video posts
- Monitor social media channels for trends, insights, and opportunities
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns
- Analyze social media data and generate reports on key metrics
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media

**Skills**:

- Proficient in proofreading and editing content for accuracy and clarity
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator
- Knowledge of advertising principles and techniques
- Strong research skills to gather relevant information for content creation
- Graphic design skills to create visually appealing social media posts
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week
