**Social Enterprise Support Specialist**

**Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Victoria** is a not-for-profit, charitable organization offering preventative support to children and youth through mentoring. For over 20 years we have operated a social enterprise to raise funds for our programs. This social enterprise provides a valued service in recycling and têxtile diversion through attended donation stations and other collection streams.

**Job Overview**

**About the Role**
- Maintain an excellent driving record while adhering to safety standards.
- Execute collection of product by targeted pickup, or by attended donation station.
- Provide excellent customer service in accepting donations and handling inquiries
- Maintain trucks and equipment in good working order.
- Work in compliance with Employment Standards and WorkSafeBC.
- Work with a team supporting growth and development.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean drivers abstract and successfully complete a criminal record check.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 60 pounds on an ongoing basis.
- Must have an excellent working knowledge of the Victoria area
- Able to work independently and as a team player
- Excellent communication skills, ability to problem solve, organized, time management.

**Terms of Employment**:

- Hours: up to 16-24 hours per week (Can pick any two or three days per week)
- Wage: $16-$18 per hour + overtime if shift last more than 8 hours
- Eligible for health benefits after 3 month probation period

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
