Administer data entry and processed, gathering systems information, analyzing how current systems support positive outcomes and provide feedback to leaders.
- Research and analyze the system and automation needs of the Firefighter Recruitment section and propose adequate solutions.
- Create and maintain workflow documentation and user guides.
- Maintain integrity of all employee data in current systems.
- Identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions.
- Program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros and reports.

**Qualifications**
- Enrolled in a third year degree program in Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology or a related field.
- Intermediate proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience conducting research, analysis and making recommendations.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems/Human Resources Information Systems.
- Knowledge and experience with writing, editing and proof-reading various documents.
- Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.

**Pre-Employment Requirements**
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2025.
- If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Compensation: $28.88 per hour (2025 Rates)
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
- work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
