In the role of Summer student - Value Chain Optimization, you will provide support to the Commercial Portfolio Planning team.  It's an excellent job for a student enrolled in a business, commerce, or economics program.

Placement Details:

This is an 4 month summer placement starting in May 2026, located in Calgary, AB.

What you will do:

  • Utilize financial modeling techniques to evaluate and assess potential business opportunities such as system expansions, customer re-contracting, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures
  • Participate in the creation of materials that support capital allocation and other commercial decisions
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Business Development, VCO, Regulatory, Strategy & Fundamentals, and Finance to support the development of commercial strategies
  • Support development of asset level strategies to maximize enterprise EBITDA

Who you are: 

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying business, commerce, or economics, and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term. 
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge's core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).

Working Conditions: 

  • Office based role, located in Calgary, AB.
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
