Support the department in organizing, developing, and coordinating program and/or project activities (e.g. developing presentations, drafting business cases, and editing documents).
- Conduct research and perform analysis related to Workforce Support programs, projects, and initiatives. Workforce Support sections include Firefighter Recruitment, Health & Wellness, Ability Management, Workforce Scheduling.
- Identify system and program improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions.
- Create and maintain workflow documentation and standard operating procedures for Workforce Support areas.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage daily assigned work.

**Qualifications**
- Enrolled in a third-year diploma or degree program in Bachelor of Commerce, Business, or Human Resources.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe.
- Experience conducting research, analysis, and making recommendations.
- Success in this position requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge of and experience with writing, editing, and proofreading various documents.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team; you plan, organize, and prioritize your work to meet competing deadline.

**Pre-Employment Requirements**
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2025.
- If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Compensation: $28.88 per hour (2025 Rates)
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
- work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
