**The opportunity**
Smythe is looking for an Admin Support on a temporary basis to help support our admin team during the busy tax season. Please note that this is an on-site position working from our Downtown Vancouver office from 12th March 2025 until April 30th, 2025.
**Responsibilities**
- Reception_
- Answer general phone inquiries using a professional and courteous manner
- Direct phone inquiries to the appropriate staff members
- Reply to general information requests with accurate information
- Greet clients/suppliers/visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner
- Office administration_
- Sort incoming mail, faxes, and courier deliveries for distribution
- Prepare and send outgoing faxes, mail, and courier parcels
- Scanning mail, PBC documents and client files
- Monitoring and stocking the office supplies ensuring that basic supplies are always available
- Saving documents into databases according to the office procedures
- Back-up electronic files using proper procedures
- Make meeting and other arrangements for staff
- Assist with assembly of T1 packages during tax season
- Use computer word processing, spreadsheets, and database software to prepare memos, and documents
**What we are looking for**
- Education_
- High School Diploma
- Post secondary education in business, computers, or office management is an asset
- Experience_
- 1-2 years of experience in an office environment
- Experience in professional services is preferred
