**Job Overview**
You will play a key role as the first point of contact in our supply chain operations, responsible for verifying and maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing international shipments, ensuring that items are properly prepared for shipment, and comparing identifying information, such as counts, weights, or measurements. You will also verify international shipment details against packing lists, invoices, orders, or other records to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager.
**Responsibilities**:
- Enter accurate receiving data into the ERP system in a timely and efficient manner, utilizing Excel skills to ensure data accuracy and streamline reporting processes.
- Prepare and submit accurate export declarations through the Canadian Export Reporting System (CERS) to ensure compliance with Canadian customs regulations and timely processing of international shipments.
- Determine the method of international shipment, arrange shipping, and prepare bills of lading, customs forms, commercial invoices, and other shipping documents, using knowledge of shipping procedures.
- Assemble boxes, record contents, and pack goods in a safe and effective manner following shipping procedures. Affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Assist the QC Department in preparing goods for final inspection before shipment.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods from trucks.
- Accurately inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods, utilizing knowledge of receiving procedures.
- Perform incoming inspections and/or testing of flagged material as required.
- Prepare inspection and non-conformance reports.
- Unpack, code, and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory of all packaging and shipping materials in an organized and efficient manner, and notify management of any shortages.
- Accurately maintain internal, manual, and/or computerized record-keeping systems (ERP/ Excel).
- Liaise with the Supply Chain Manager to resolve all inventory issues.
- Maintain an organized shipping/receiving work area.
- Maintain a working knowledge of inventory and stock control.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Skills**:
- At least 2 years of international shipping and receiving experience.
- Proficient in ERP systems and skilled in Excel are a MUST.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Capable of working independently.
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (50+ pounds), and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to follow instructions.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
