**Shipping Coordinator** to join our growing team in
**Amico Lights**.

**What you will do as a Shipping Coordinator**
- Determine best method of shipment and prepare shipping documents.
- Source new shipping companies, negotiate pricing and delivery times.
- Continuous improvement of packing methods to ensure product arrives to destination without damage.
- Coordinate with the Production and Shipping Team to schedule daily deliveries and customer pick
- ups.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Resolve carrier issues and respond quickly to customer delivery expectations.
- Maintain internal record-keeping systems.
- React quickly to changing circumstances to ensure delivery to customers involving all key internal and external contacts.
- Participate as a key player in supporting operations as needed.
- Educational background in supply chain management or operations management studies is an asset.

- At least 3-5 years of Shipping or related experience is must.
- Knowledge of customs/FDA and international shipping is required.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and be self-motivated.
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask, able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient computer and math skills and ability to learn new software.
- Forklift License is an asset.
