Ship Superintendent

UR Frozen Foods is a global logistics trading company. We trade frozen meat globally and offer logistics services.

Company location is in Richmond, BC. We provide a quiet, warm, and harmonious working environment. We are looking to add a purchasing representative to our team.

**Job Duties**:

- Be responsible for imparting knowledge about the specific features, characteristics, and procedures of the vessel operations to crew members and the orientation of all new personnel on board the vessel.
- Maintaining contact with the Master, other Officers, and Crew and the daily operations monitoring
- Provide advice to management on export and import restrictions, tariff systems, letters of credit, insurance requirements and other custom related matters.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, requesting maintenance repairs when necessary
- Prepare and process import and export documents and other forms
- coordinating and negotiating with vendors on ship selling and buying

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and/or Business is required.
- 3 years' experience of Ship chief engineer or similar position
- Advanced knowledge in Logistics and the Marine Industry.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
