Office and Yard Assistant

This position supports our towing and impound services.
It is a 3-month full time position with the potential to transition into long term.
Must live in the Ancaster / West end of Hamilton
Duties consist of:
- Performing releases and cashier duties for impounded vehicles
- Provide quotes and explain services to potential customers (sales experience required)
- Fill out invoices and complete necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Frequently step away from the desk to:
- Escort customers to the yard to access their vehicles
- Meet tow trucks at the gate for vehicle pickups and drop-offs
- Answering the phones
- Update dispatch website with vehicle details
- Assist in filing duties if needed
**Requirements**:
- Working in an office setting
- Good computer skills (i.e. MS Excel, data systems)
- Previous sales experience is required, ideally in a customer service or automotive environment
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors throughout the day
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and very organized
Able to greet the nice clients warmly but also not afraid to deal with difficult individuals.
Work Location:
West Ancaster (not on bus route)
Hours:
8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday
Pay: $20/hr

Contract length: 3 months
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
