Duties and responsibilities include:
The Programs Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of programs in both development and implementation.

The Programs Manager is responsible for the HR management of the Service Delivery Team to include training, supervision, work plans, team meetings, and performance reviews; attends regular management meetings, contributes to the Strategic Plan and Risk Management; provides updated reports to the Executive Director; coordinates the placement of Practicum Students; oversees volunteer intake and recruitment; responsible for the management of new school partnerships; accountable for ensuring all client files meet national standards (conducts regular file audits); participates in agency match events, coordinates the agency community based group events; responsible for staying updated on community trends (i.e. participation in community meetings, conferences, training as it relates to young people); responsible for ensuring all developed Outcome Evaluation Tools are implemented by the Service Delivery staff team; and executes other responsibilities as required and assigned by the Executive Director.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in a Humanities, Child and Youth Development, Social Work, Education or related field required.
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
- Proficient use of MS Office and database management.
- 3 years minimum experience in a team lead or management position.
- Ability to prioritize safety and well being of program participants, staff and support networks to ensure safe outcomes.
- Experience in Program Delivery to youth and or vulnerable sector population.
- Demonstrated success in measuring program outcomes and program development to match growth/strategic plan goals.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficient and proactive approach to volunteer management, engagement, support including recruitment and retention of all volunteers.
- Self-motivated, passionate and committed to the mission and vision of the agency and movement.
- Reliable transportation and valid BC Driver’s License an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour
