Windshield Surgeons is looking for a detail oriented Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our team

Windshield Surgeons Auto Glass is a family owned business that has been in operation across Alberta since 1989. Windshield Surgeons offers a great work environment, full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits plan.

This is a part time permanent position and is normally scheduled for approximately 30 hours per week,between the hours of Monday
- Friday, 8/9am - 4/5pm.

**Job Description**:

- Process semi monthly payroll for all salary and hourly employees ensuring all checks and balances are completed
- ADP
- Audit system time entries and timecard corrections for accuracy before posting through
- we use Tanda
- Review all deductions to ensure accuracy and remittances are made as scheduled
- Compile payroll data such as garnishments, benefits, vacation time, sick pay, insurance, and other deductions
- Process WCB annual report
- Assist with year-end processing of T4's and T2200
- Process Service Canada requests and issuing Records of Employment, as required
- Maintain accurate employee profiles of new hires and terminations
- Address payroll related queries and requests from employees
- Create required internal management reports from the payroll system
- Consider recommendations for system and process improvements
- Update benefits for eligible staff and reconcile costs
- Stay current with payroll regulations, standards, and work methods and consider their impacts on the business
- Work with Management to ensure accurate and timely entering of all timesheets, hours, and accruals
- Adhere to all policies and follow established processes
- Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of employee’s personal information as well as financial records as they relate to the organization and its customers
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

- A Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is preferred
- Minimum 3+ years full-cycle payroll
- Prior experience with ADP and Quickbooks Online Software
- Strong computer skills with the ability to effectively use various office-based software including Microsoft Office Suite with an advanced level of proficiency using Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of payroll and payroll tax laws required
- Be fit for duty daily
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently and to seek guidance when required
- Posses a high level of moral judgment for handling confidential information and monetary transactions

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
