**Primary Purpose**

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Onboarding Success Coordinator will assist with tasks and functions related to onboarding new employees. The position functions in an environment where considerable attention to detail and the ability to handle highly confidential material are required. The HR Onboarding Success Coordinator is expected to be customer service-oriented and exhibit a high degree of diplomacy and discretion. This position will be accountable for a smooth employee onboarding experience.

**Specific Responsibilities**

This role plays a vital role for UCW. As someone instrumental in welcoming new talent to the university, this person must be well organized and available, in addition to having good interpersonal skills. The incumbent will be the initial contact for new professionals joining the university and will need to provide an outstanding integration experience. Working alongside administrative teams and managers, this person has a key role in the UCW structure.
- You will partner with the recruitment team and hiring managers to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
- Responsible to ensure a smooth pre-onboarding onboarding experience.
- Performing various follow-ups prior to the arrival of new employees, which includes making announcements and choosing team members (buddy system).
- Update and maintain confidential HR documents and files, ensuring all required documentation is provided and up to date including employment records.
- Accountable for processing onboarding documents in the HRIS system (Cezanne, ADP, HR Dashboard).
- Coordinate with IT for new account creation and updating the mailing list.
- Support payroll team by accurate documentation of new joiners.
- Facilitate and conduct Meet & Greet, New Hire Induction, and Campus Tours.
- Provide support in managing the HR Calendar, setting, and scheduling appointments for new joiners - early check-ins, probation setting, and end reminders.
- Administer benefits programs to ensure appropriate enrolment coverage and data accuracy.
- Assist with ad hoc special projects as required.
- Assist with arranging and set up of onsite and external activities as required.
- Research and establish best practices to enhance onboarding experience for new hires.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Position Requirements**

To be successful in the HR Onboarding Success Coordinator, an individual must possess, and be committed to developing, maintaining, and demonstrating the following:

**Education and experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an HR concentration
- Minimum 1 year of HR or administration experience
- Proficiency with Human Resource Information System (Cezanne, ADP or any other cloud based HRIS)

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
