Doro Safety and Security is a small business in Nepean, ON which sells and manufactures electronic retail safety products and evacuation chairs across Canada, USA and internationally. We are hiring immediately to fill the role of Administrative Assistant/Order Desk Clerk. This position is a critical role within Doro to ensure our customers receive high quality products and services in a timely fashion. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, has an aptitude for learning new processes, has a strong and dedicated work ethic, is self-motivated, has strong interpersonal and communication skills, has the ability to work independently and works well under the pressure of tight timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Answer phones, filing, order office supplies, general office management as required by the owner or office manager
- Process, review and fill orders for shipping, ensuring all information is accurate and complete
- Print shipping labels or commercial invoices and track deliveries
- Place orders through our suppliers and maintain inventory
- Maintain communications with other departments
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

- Ottawa, ON K2E 7J5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Admin/Inventory control/Purchase Orders/Shipping: 1 year (required)
