**Duties**
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medication as prescribed and assist with care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Assist clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Engage clients in memory care activities for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities through direct support services.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress.

**Skills**
- Proficient in First Aid and CPR techniques.
- Experience in group home settings or assisted living facilities is preferred.
- Strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in health or behavior.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is a plus.
- Familiarity with home health care practices, hospice care, and long-term care experience is beneficial.
- Excellent cooking skills for meal preparation tailored to client needs.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams. This position requires a genuine passion for caregiving and a commitment to enhancing the lives of those we serve through compassionate support and skilled assistance.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
