**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Provide supervision and care to clients during scheduled respite hours.
- Take clients on community outings (e.g., parks, stores, recreational centers) as needed to promote socialization and engagement.
- Assist clients in developing and practicing daily living and life skills (e.g., hygiene, cooking, cleaning, money management).
- Follow individualized support or behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Behavior Analyst.
- Ensure client safety and well-being at all times.
- Model appropriate social behavior and encourage positive interactions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Communicate effectively with caregivers, ABA team members, and supervisors.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require post-secondary education or relevant training).
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Understanding of ABA principles is an asset (training may be provided).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to take clients on community outings.
- Ability to lift and assist clients if necessary.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.

Pay: $17.20-$27.73 per hour
