**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide personal care and support to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and retirement homes.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs as needed.
- Engage in memory care activities for residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia to enhance their quality of life.
- Support residents with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition is maintained.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of care provided and resident information.
- Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary to assist residents with mobility challenges.
- Foster positive relationships with residents through social interaction and behavior management techniques.
- Drive residents to appointments or community outings as required.

**Experience**
- First aid certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or home & community care settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with working with people with disabilities, including developmental disabilities and mental health challenges.
- Experience in providing senior care, including memory care and dementia care strategies.
- Background in caregiving within personal care homes or group homes is beneficial.
- Knowledge of cleaning protocols to maintain hygiene standards within the facility. Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve by providing compassionate overnight support as a Personal Support Worker

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
