**As part of this role, your responsibilities will include**:

- Preparing project plans including Project Management and Delivery Plans, including the following subsidiary plans; Stakeholder and Communications Management Quality Management, Scope and Scope Change Management, Procurement Management and Resource Management.
- Developing and updating project progress tracking tools, such as Microsoft Project schedules and work execution plans, for the successful and on time completion of activities and deliverables.
- Participating in proposal development activities including providing input for project management activities and project approaches/methodologies.
- Assisting in preparing project documents including project change notices, invoices, and project/phase budgets.
- Generating daily reports, database management, external (e.g., public) correspondence and following quality control procedures for multiple, large-scale project assignments.
- Tracking and reporting on project costs and schedule progress, including monitoring submission timelines and reviewing potential issues with Project Managers.
- Identifying and recommending corrective actions for variations from project plans and baselines.
- Acting as a liaison between our engineering staff, site oversight teams, subcontractors/suppliers, and our clients.
- Attending internal coordination meetings and meetings with clients, including taking and distributing agendas and meeting minutes, and following up on action items.
- Developing and updating registers and tracking logs, including verifying procedures for file management and document control are followed.
- Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment.
- Preparing and updating Standard Operating Procedures for project management.
- Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multidisciplinary projects
- Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as required.
- A degree or diploma in Environmental Sciences, Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
- Obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designation (or are eligible and are actively working towards certification).
- 1-3 years of project management experience working at an engineering/environmental consulting firm.
- Working knowledge of project management guidelines and standards for managing projects, according to the Project Management Institutes’ Project Management Body of Knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with all project stakeholders and proactively respond to time-sensitive matters and issues.
- A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance
- Proven success in relationship building and leadership skills.
