**About Us**
We are a small **custom metal fabricator** - projects range from high-end residential to commercial installations. We are looking for a motivated **Estimator/Project Coordinator** to join our team.

**Role Overview**

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both the **technical** and **client-facing** sides of fabrication work.
You’ll be responsible for reviewing drawings, preparing quotes, meeting clients, and following projects from inquiry to delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review client drawings and inquiries to prepare accurate **estimates and quotes**:

- Read and interpret **architectural and mechanical drawings** (DWG, PDF, etc.)
- Conduct **site visits** for measurement, verification, and client coordination
- Communicate with clients to understand needs and provide technical guidance
- **Prepare and send quotes**, follow up with clients, and help secure sales
- Create **technical drawings** and fabrication details using **SolidWorks or other CAD software** when required
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, fabrication, installation) to ensure smooth workflow
- Track project progress and maintain clear communication with clients throughout
- Provide **on-site support** during installation when necessary

**Qualifications**
- Strong understanding of **metal fabrication** or **mechanical processes**:

- Proficiency in **SolidWorks** (or similar CAD software)
- **Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) or equivalent**:

- Ability to read **architectural and mechanical drawings** confidently
- Excellent **communication and organizational** skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Comfortable conducting **site measurements** and client meetings
- Self-motivated and goal-driven — able to follow up on quotes and close sales
- A **background in mechanics or fabrication** is an asset
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and ability to travel locally for site visits

You’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident talking to both clients and fabricators.
You enjoy seeing a project through from drawing to finished product — and you take pride in delivering quality work and strong communication every step of the way.

**Job Type**: Full-time
**Location**: Newmarket, ON
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday
**Experience**: 1-3 years in a related field preferred

**Compensation**

Base Salary + commission of personal sales(paid upon project completion)

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
