**Project Manager**
**Communications Infrastructure and Network Design Experience**
Spectech offers a unique opportunity for an Project Coordinator to work in a company that provides benefits, has a positive office environment and is committed to its employees.

The head office is located on Yonge Street in Newmarket, Ontario just 35 minutes north of Toronto and is easily accessible via public transit. The office environment is business causal and the regular working hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm.
The position is a full time position with a 3 month probation period.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist senior staff leading projects
- Assess client requirements
- Complete site surveys
- Assist with designs
- Assist with markup of drawings for CAD/Revit
- Assist in maintaining Standard Drawings and Documents
- Assist with the management of projects including site administration
- Responding to clients requirements
- Prepare timesheets and reports as required for administration and client management
- Coordinate projects within project budgets and within a project’s scope of work
- Respond to RFI’s, Addendums, and CN’s effectively and efficiently
**Required Skills**:
- Able to translate client needs into solutions
- Confident leading and working with clients and contractors during the installation process to ensure client and projects needs are met
- Possess a developed knowledge base of current and new technologies
- Able to use professional judgment when determining equipment listing for estimating based on the functional needs of the client along with price and budgetary concerns
- Support sales by communicating new leads to the managementteam, and acting in a professional demeanor when working with clients
Required Competencies:
- Ability to be accountable for your own work production, and personal development
- Ability to act rationally and problem solve effectively when under pressure;
- Excellent customer service skills, and a professional demeanor;
- Exceptional time management skills and a commitment to completing tasks within required deadlines;
- Proactive communication style and strong verbal and written communication skills
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an Project Coordinator
- Communications Infrastructure and Network design experience an asset.
- Possess a technical diploma or degree from a College or University
- Familiarity with building systems including IT and Telecommunications
- Familiarity with building and electrical codes, as well as electrical systems, mechanical systems as it pertains to Communications Infrastructure, Network Designs, Security and Audio Visual Design an asset
- Strong ability to read architectural and construction drawings
- Record all time in our internal time and project management reporting software
- Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to project sites within the Greater Toronto Area
Preferences: - Prior experience working in a consulting company
