**FYidoctors Surrey **is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newest full-time **Optical Associate**.
You will play a critical role within FYidoctors by delivering world-class service to our patients. As our newest **Optical Associate** you will be responsible for the retail and repair of eyewear products as well as follow-up care. Join us in advancing eye health and enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
This position is a full-time, permanent role working 30-40 hours per week. The clinic is open Monday to Saturday with later hours on Tuesdas and Wednesday. Open availability to accommodate all shifts is required.
**What will you be doing?**
- Checking patients both in and out of the office
- Selling and dispensing eyewear
- Adjusting and repairing eyewear
- Assist with training new contact lens patients
- Billing the patient, their medical service provider and other third parties
- Administering pre-testing services
- Managing appointment bookings, prescription printouts and billing and payments
- Assist with administrative tasks
- Assist in keeping the clinic clean and organized
- Minimum of one year of optical experience selling, adjust, repairing and dispensing eyewear
- Experience in training patients to wear contact lenses is ideal but not essential
- Passionate about customer experience; a great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care
- Committed to excelling as a member of a high performing team
- A high level of comfort using technology and computers with solid proficiency in MS Office Suite
- A professional, approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with people
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
