**FYidoctors Surrey **looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join us as our newest **Optical Associate.**
The **Optical Associate** plays a critical role within FYidoctors and is crucial to our success by delivering world-class service to our patients. You'll often be the first point of contact with the public, so you must bring with you your passion for people and your drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience. With your help, we'll continue to have a positive impact on our current patients' health and well-being, as well as the patients we haven't yet met.
This position is a full-time, permanent role working 30 - 40 hours per week, Mondays to Saturdays.
**What will you be doing?**
- Assist our customers with eyewear, lens selection and contact lens orders
- Explaining the benefits and advantages of our lenses based on the patient's lifestyle and needs
- Adjusting and repairing eyewear products as well as follow up patient care
- Administrating pre-testing services such as Auto Refractions, Optomap, OCT and NCT
- Manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, billings and payments
- Administrative tasks, scanning, ordering and receiving clinic supplies
- Assist in keeping the clinic clean and organized
- Ideally, you will have some customer-facing experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Experience in the optical world or knowledge of routine eye care would be beneficial but not essential
- Passionate about customer experience; a great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care
- Committed to excelling as a member of a high performing team
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Good computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite
