Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. Your role will involve assisting with various dental procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for all patients.

**Duties**:

- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort
- Take digital x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with front desk duties, such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments only as needed

**Experience**:

- Experience in pediatric dentistry or orthodontics is a plus

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with the dental team
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards patients of all ages
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of dental receptionist duties is an asset

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
