Group Benefits Sales Producer

**Opportunity**

**Responsibilities**
- Connect with key business leaders in-person, over the phone, and on digital platforms to gain an understanding of their business to advise on an appropriate benefit strategy and the advantages of working with Hometown Life Insurance
- Collect and prepare required details of the client’s business to go to market
- Work cooperatively with carriers to provide updates and manage client expectations throughout the process
- Educate and guide prospects through the process to ensure a seamless tranisition of their plan
- Build relationships with prospective clients from pre-existing relationships through a variety of business partnerships
- Compile, review and prepare quotes for recommendation to client based on their business’ needs
- Provide professional recommendation to the client for their review and consideration
- Confirm final details of plan design to make final presentation to client for implementation
- Assist client in the enrolment process for the business and employees
- Communicate and work with the service team to ensure there is no gap in knowledge for the client
- Conduct ongoing touch points and updates with the client regarding their plan and trends in the marketplace
- Negotiate premiums and manage renewals with the carrier on behalf of the client
- Perform duties as assigned with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and dedication to a superior client experience
- Self starter who is motivated for the sale and can cultivate genuine trust with clients
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client information
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Has experience in sales with a proven track record of success
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Aptitude to establish and develop long-lasting client relationships
- Strong attention to detail including organization and accuracy of tasks
- Acts with patience, professionalism, and dedication to the client best interests

**Qualifications**
- Post secondary degree or diploma or relevant education and experience
- 3+ years of B2B Sales experience
- 3 to 5 years experience working with Group/Employee Benefits

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
