**Summary**:
The Human Resources Manager will be a key strategic business partner. As Human Resources Manager you will perform a range of duties such as health and safety, policies, payroll, driving engagement & retention, education, leading and executing initiatives and other HR programs.

**Job Duties**:

- Design, implement and support the execution of human resource HR policies and procedures that align with company mission and core values
- Communicate to company Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations.
- Champion the company culture by proactively designing, leading and executing initiatives
- Proactively seek to understand business processes, priorities, context, issues, and challenges to recommend and implement solutions that will drive engagement, performance and achieve results
- Build trust‐based relationships, coach leaders and managers on people needs and consult on people decisions
- Provide resolutions to employee relation issues (e.g. employee complaints and harassment allegations)
- Ensure compliance from relevant employment legislative requirements, including but not limited to, Pay Equity Act, Act respecting Labour Standards, and Act Respecting Occupational Health and Safety
- Manage time off data and send updated to management/employees
- Recognize and manage employee relations issues, address complaints, conduct and oversee investigations as required
- Oversee adequate orientation and training within the organization
- Administer and record employee recognition and incentive programs
- Build and sustain beneficial relationships with employment agencies and educational institutions
- Full cycle recruitment from interviews, screening through to on-boarding.
- Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems
- Manage salary structure, position documentation, and an evaluation system
- Develop and provide recommendations for policies and processes.
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Bilingual ‐ English/French
- Certified Human Resource Professional designation is an asset
- Minimum 5 years HR experience
- Work experience or education in employment law or other area of regulations preferred
- Experience with ADP WFN required
- Demonstrated work knowledge of multiple human resource areas preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to provide beneficial recommendations to solve HR related issues related to regulations, laws and policies
- Experience growing a successful start‐up is an asset
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
