This position is based in Montreal at AO Smith Enterprises Ltd’s newly acquired business Giant Factories Inc.
Giant Factories Inc. are the only water heater manufacturers in operation in Canada. The company has two factories equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and more than 300 dedicated and passionate employees.

- Performance bonus
- 4 weeks vacation
- Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and mobilize the HR team (3 employees)
- Identify HR issues and implement the necessary changes within the applicable legislation and company policies
- Establish the budget forecasts for the department, administer the budget, question the discrepancies and take the appropriate corrective measures
- Provide advice to managers on all issues related to human resources and support them in their HR functions
- Monitor human resources best practices
- Recommend and participate in the development of programs, policies and procedures to enhance the employee experience
- Develop, maintain and analyze HR indicators that can be used for planning and improving our practices
- Actively participate in maintaining and improving the corporate culture
- Guide, advise and support managers in talent management, performance management, succession planning, workforce planning, change management, as well as activities aimed at fostering team building and recognition
- Ensure compliance with employment and health and safety laws
- Develop and update policies, procedures and tools to support human resources strategies
**Required Skills**:
- Degree/BAC in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
- 5 years of managerial experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Bilingual (French/English) both orally and written
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knows the Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, Word and Excel
