The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, execution and optimization of digital marketing programs. This person will possess a working knowledge of strategic planning and will focus on managing and executing multi-channel campaigns, managing performance, and improving digital engagement and conversion rates. This role involves delivering on strategy through hands-on campaign management and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable results aligned with business objectives.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Manage and support the execution of digital marketing programs aligned with the annual marketing plan and evolving business priorities.
- Manage, build, and continuously optimize audience segmentations via marketing automation (Account Engagement platform) and integrated with Salesforce/CRM. Drive growth of the marketing database and coordinate seamless data integration/workflows with Sales Operations/Salesforce (CRM) as needed.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance of digital marketing programs with actionable insights and recommendations to guide strategic/business decisions and optimize ongoing and future campaigns.
- Coordinate with external marketing agencies to ensure accurate measurement and timely reporting of digital campaign performance. Review and analyze agency-provided performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness against established KPIs and ensure on-going optimization for maximum return on investment.
- Manage and maintain Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Pay-per-click programs in collaboration with SEM agency. Collaborate with the external agency to maintain campaign alignment with business objectives, review performance and ensure ongoing optimization.
- Develop familiarity and efficiency within all digital marketing platforms:
- CMS Platform (Drupal)
- Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager
- Product Information Mangement System (PIM)/Censhare
- Hootsuite/Social Media Channels
- Salesforce/CRM
- Account Engagement/Marketing Automation
- Translation Management System & Process
- Assist in managing the annual digital marketing budget and spending across our various businesses and as per strategic priorities.
- Interface with external agencies and other vendors to ensure successful execution and completion of digital marketing programs and initiatives.
- Occasional travel will be required.
**Qualifications**:
- 7+ years minimum relevant experience in digital marketing; Preference in global corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms including Account Engagement/Marketing Automation, Salesforce/CRM, Web/Content Management Systems, and Social Media Platforms.
- A technical aptitude and understanding of SEO and SEM principles and strategies, including Pay-per-Click/Google Ads, and content optimization techniques to enhance organic search performance and strengthen brand visibility.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret performance metrics and optimize campaigns based on insights to improve engagement and conversions across digital touchpoints, using tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Account Engagement/Pardot, and Hootsuite.
- Deep understanding of web marketing, e-marketing, and social media, combined with strategic insight and creative execution to drive brand engagement and online growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; and working knowledge in Account Engagement, Adobe creative suite, web design and photo-editing are assets.
- Exceptional communicator (English) with strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Customer focused with deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and journeys to tailor marketing approaches and create compelling content/messaging that resonate with target audiences.
- Strong project management skills with hands-on experience leading multiple projects simultaneously. Well-honed prioritization, organization and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, management and teamwork skills, thriving in a fast-paced, self-driven environment.
- Staff development and management experience with strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Staying current with digital trends, tools, and best practices, and adapting strategies accordingly.
- Work experience and knowledge of B2B markets are an asset.
