Cochrane Society for Housing Options (CSHO) is the Municipal provider of the Affordable Housing Program, serving residents of Cochrane & Western Rocky View County. Home Reno Heaven (HRH), the social enterprise of CSHO, generates funding to support affordable housing initiatives in Cochrane. We are seeking a flexible multi-tasker to join our team to focus on financial administration, managing our social media presence, direct supervision of our retail store including employees and volunteers, and various other office administration duties.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Financial Administration: Responsible for the day-day financials using QuickBooks including banking, journal entries, payments
- Digital Presence: Maintain the CSHO and HRH social media presence across various platforms, and our websites; schedule, monitor and report on social media activity to strengthen our audience engagement and brand visibility
- Data Management: using computerized and hard-copy data collection systems; including input, update and report generation
- Communication: Communicate with our team, volunteers, and community agencies
- Grants: Assist the Executive Director in researching and writing housing-related grants
**YOUR PROFILE**
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in administration; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Post Secondary education in Administration; or related field would be an asset
- Experience working with Non-Profits, Municipal Government, public sector, Social Programming, Community Development and/or Housing considered an asset
- Experience and love of multi-tasking, being very flexible with changing demands
- Proficiency using QuickBooks (or similar), MS Office Suite software, internet and social media
- Proficiency developing engaging visual and written content, extremely comfortable with digital tools
- History of leading and motivated people, including direct reports or volunteers
- Confidentiality is required, with a respectful and sensitive approach to the workload and daily interactions
- Fluency in English (oral, written and spoken) mandatory
- Criminal Record Check that needs to be maintained throughout your employment
- All applicants must be legally entitled to live and work in Canada
**SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION**
Permanent, part-time 22.5 hours/3 days per week, between Monday-Friday with occasional evening or weekend meetings. Possibility in future to increase to 4 days/week based on operational needs. Up to $27 per hour, with mandatory employment benefits.
