Office Assistant

**Job Summary**
If you are a professional dedicated Administrative Assistant with 2-3 years experience, seeking a long term position, we would like to hear from you. The Office Assistant will be responsible for preparing customer correspondence in a technical environment and work with technical and sales department personnel. Word and Excel intermediate to advance levels preferred.

**You must have a Valid Work Visa or Be a Permanent Citizen of Canada to apply**
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Technical Correspondence/Quotations for customers and in-house
- Preparation of Invoicing, Work Order, AP/AR, Data Entry
- Preparation of Customs / Export Documentation
- Work with and manage timelines set by Supervisor
- Answering a multi-line telephone system in a timely manner
- Screen and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel and take adequate messages when required
- Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence, (occasionally)
- Provide administrative support in order to ensure accuracy and timeliness of service
**Qualifications and Skills**
Education & Experience Requirements:
- College/University Education in related field (Business, Administration)
- Previous office experience (2-3 years)
- Proficient in Word & Excel - intermediate to advances levels
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task daily responsibilities
- Ability to work under pressure, occasionally, meeting strict deadlines
- Attention to detail is important
**Benefits** **Full time, Permanent, Days, Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)**
- **Starting at $39,000.00 - $39,500.00 annually**:
