**Who is SkyBox Labs?**

SkyBox Labs is a game development studio that works on some of the world’s most iconic games. The studio is currently co-developing Halo Infinite, working on projects in the Minecraft universe, supporting the dev team at Bungie on Destiny 2: Lightfall, supporting development of Fallout 76, and working on original IP. As one of Canada’s fastest-growing game studios, since our inception in 2011, SkyBox Labs has evolved from a group of 8 people to a team of over 270+ Engineers, Artists, Animators, Designers, Producers, and more Join us in our Burnaby or Victoria studios, or have the opportunity to work remotely within Canada for certain designated projects.

SkyBox Labs is looking for an enthusiastic Studio Coordinator You will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of our game studio’s facilities and cultivating SkyBox Labs culture for remote and hybrid employees, alike. Take ownership over tasks and projects, providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

**A snapshot of your role**:

- Oversee the studio's physical space and proactively address in-studio issues to ensure smooth operations
- Manage service requests and take action on those related to facility and building management
- Plan and execute in-studio and virtual events in collaboration with People Experience
- Actively participate in the Occupational Health and Safety Committee, utilizing First Aid Certification and arranging safety training
- Prioritize effective studio-wide communication, including facilities, safety, and events information
- Create and maintain accessible documentation for streamlined studio-wide knowledge sharing
- Assist in purchasing practices for the studio and specific teams
- Ensure seamless studio guest experiences and handle related logistics
- Provide administrative support as needed

**Sound like you? This is what we're looking for**:

- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in coordination, administration, facilities, project management, or operations
- Proficiency in software and technology, ideally with space-planning software (i.e. Office Space) and ticketing systems (i.e. Service Desk, Fresh Service)
- Knowledgeable about Occupational Health and Safety, demonstrating maturity in handling serious incidents with professionalism and confidentiality
- Proficient in documentation and platforms to maintain and update studio documentation (i.e. Confluence)
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills essential for effective management of studio tasks, events, and studio-wide information distribution
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing on projects and events
- Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to learn new skills in a dynamic, tech-focused environment
- Access to a car with a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 30 lbs
- Nice-to-haves:_
- First aid certification and practical experience
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Experience working in the games industry and an interest in games
- Experience in planning remote events
- Exposure to purchasing and budget practices

The base salary range is $41,000 - $61,000. The stated pay scale reflects the range that SkyBox Labs reasonably expects to pay for this position. Your base salary will be determined by various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, skills, and experience.
