York Radiology Consultants is a Diagnostic Imaging/Nuclear Cardiac Imaging facility operating in North York. We make use of the latest in technology to provide world class, individual and timely care to our patients in need of Imaging Services.

**Position Overview**:
York Radiology Clinic is seeking an experienced **full-time Administrative Assistant** to provide diversified support to the organization. This position assists with the scheduling of Diagnostic Imaging/Nuclear Cardiac Procedures and Data Entry to assist the Sr. Administrative Assistant in the daily operation of the center activities in accordance with YRC policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Perform a variety of basic and routine clerical and secretarial duties. Booking diagnostic imaging services (Ultrasounds, BMD, Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology).
- Work with other office Assistants within 4 locations to ensure accurate booking dates and procedures.
- Registers our patients accurately into RIS/PACs system.
- Follow established processes to obtain, manage and utilize patient information to enhance and improve individual and organization, integrity, and security of medical records.
- Perform relief receptionist and/or clerical duties as assigned or required.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:

- Diagnostic Imaging Clinics experience in a healthcare environment in a similar role is preferred but willing to hire enthusiatic individual interested to take the postion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 2010 (particularly Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of our RIS/PACS would be an asset.
- Medical background helpful, but not essential.

**Required Skills & Abilities**:

- Ability to anticipate needs and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to interpret ambiguous situations and put them into a structured framework.
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks and tight timelines.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders and deal with impacts and issues.

**Required Professional Designation/Certificate**:

- Post-secondary education in Medical Administrative or Business Administration studies or other related discipline would be an asset.
- Medical Terminology Certificate would be an asset.
- Freshers willing to learn and train are encouraged to apply.

**Compensation**:

- Based on experience + competitive benefit package.
