As the **Administrator, People & Culture**, you will work independently and as part of the People & Culture (P&C) team to provide a broad scope of people and culture support with the ongoing operations of the department while handling a variety of complex and highly confidential issues. You will ensure that all activities are aligned with CPSA’s values and characteristics.

**_This is a contract opportunity for approximately one year working 35 hours/week._**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- ** Recruitment and Selection support and administration**:

- Managing all aspects of the internal and external recruitment process for entry level positions at CPSA.
- Ensure recruitment strategies and processes are applied in a way to limit unconscious bias and with an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) lens.
- Administration and organization of applicants and leaders throughout the recruitment process, and participating in interviews as required.
- Managing the attraction and communication with applicants, ensuring a positive experience and representation of CPSA.
- Attend virtual and in person career fairs and other attraction events on behalf of CPSA.
- **
New Employee Onboarding**:

- Facilitate the receipt of all new hire employment documentation, create team member profile in system and ensure retention of all documentation.
- Work with the leader and support departments to arrange access and onboarding activities for new team members.
- Update and manage team member information and coordinate mandatory training requirements.
- **
P&C Initiative and Project Support**:

- Support annual milestone awards initiatives.
- Participate as member on various internal committees as required.
- Provide aministrative support to the Health & Safety committee activities.
- Assist with policy, standards, and guidelines creation and updates as required.
- Ad-hoc project work, as necessary.
- Support data analytics and reporting for the department.

Manage the day-to-day department support**:

- Ensure sources of P&C documents have been updated and remain accurate as programs/policies are updated.
- Compile information for team member communications and announcements as required.
- Maintain accurate records management and data integrity in various systems.
- Manage general inquires received from CPSA team members and escalate inquiries as necessary to P&C team.
- Administer employment change records and notify appropriate CPSA departments as necessary; including organization of offboarding activities.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**:

- Diploma with preference for specialization in Human Resources.

**Experience**:

- Requirement for 3 to 5 years of related experience.

**Skills**:

- A broad range of human resources and recruiting knowledge.
- Working knowledge of both provincial and federal labour law and regulations.
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Microsoft Office 365.
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
- Customer-service focused and able to effectively communicate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

**SALARY**
The salary for this position is $67,809 annually and includes a comprehensive benefit package and pension plan.
