AyA is looking for a motivated professional to join our extremely busy Human Resources team. Although a large portion of the role is recruitment, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in being a Human Resources Generalist. This role will also include some Health and Safety.

Duties include:

- Job posting, reviewing resumes, interviewing, hiring and orientation
- Schedule training and maintain training records
- Update job descriptions, employee manual and policies and general administrative duties
- Maintain, update health and safety policies, records and some training
- Assist in the development and implementation of new documentation for continuous improvement of the Corporate Health and Safety System
- Help organize company events

Qualifications/Education:

- Completion of a Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources
- Min. 2 Years experience in Recruiting (Manufacturing environment preferred)
- Experience responding to employee enquiries
- Ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Able to communicate effectively with individuals of all levels
- Experience in manufacturing environment and Health & Safety an asset
- Comfortable in office and plant environment

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
