The Visual Coordinator will focus on overall merchandising support for the Visual Department to ensure the delivery of industry-leading showrooms and world class assets. This junior role will report directly to the Visual Planning & Creative Lead. Travel required (8-10 weeks per year) and ability to lift 80 lbs required.
**DUTIES AND RESPONISIBILITIES**
**HQ/HEAD OFFICE**
- Placement in showroom of all new samples received on a weekly basis
- Showroom maintenance (styling, vignette placement, bedding, etc.)
- Ordering of any necessary supplies for all Visual projects
- Planning all styling elements for showrooms (rug placement, wall décor pairings, etc.)
- Ordering all styling elements for HQ and wholesale showrooms (rugs, greenery, florals, etc.)
- Working alongside Visual Operations Coordinator to assist with direction of all support team members for all Visual projects
- Collaborating with Visual Lead on planning and execution of showroom updates
**WHOLESALE SHOWROOMS**
- Create and assist with the execution of each showroom’s Product Checklist
- Lead the physical placement of all vignettes based on floorplan
- Working alongside Visual Operations Coordinator to assist with direction of all support team members
- Swatch orders for all showrooms (HQ included)
- Placement & organization of all swatches
- Planning & placement of all styling elements in the showroom (rugs, wall décor, bedding, etc.)
- Placement of all necessary tagging throughout showroom
- Ordering any necessary styling elements
- Overall tagging for showrooms, including: list creation, auditing, physical tagging, etc. (HQ included)
**PHOTOSHOOTS**
- Securing all necessary styling elements prior to each shoot
- Working alongside Visual Operations Coordinator to prepare all product prior to shoot days
- Ensuring all product is in shot order and prepared during shoot
- Setting up product in vignettes based off shot list
- Maintaining standards in studio prior, during and following photoshoots
- Ordering supplies as needed
- Resetting dock and showroom with product following photoshoots
**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Computer literate, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift & move at least 80 lbs
- Solution-based problem solver
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to travel to the United States of America (at least 8-10 weeks annually)
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy & efficiency
- Focused on teamwork and contributing to a positive work environment
- Previous experience in the furniture or fashion industry is a plus
