**Site Supervisor Job Description**

We are looking to employ a dedicated and experienced site supervisor to oversee construction projects and supervise the construction team. The site supervisor's responsibilities include ordering building supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance as needed, and training new construction employees. You should also be able to perform first aid in emergencies.

To be successful as a site supervisor, you should be detail-oriented and knowledgeable of building codes and construction safety regulations. Ultimately, an outstanding site supervisor should be able to interpret building plans as well as demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

**Qualifications include**:

- 5-10 years of relevant and hands-on experience
- 3 years of site supervisory experience
- Great communication skills
- Able to control the timeline of tasks
- Outstanding leadership skills
- Solid knowledge of residential construction trades and specifications
- Valid G Class License with a personal vehicle
- Well-versed with all applicable building codes & Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Able to understand and interpret drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word & Excel) is an asset
- Able to quickly learn a new software with basic tech skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills
- Able to effectively prioritize, delegate, and supervise work
- Take on initiatives
- CPR and standard first aid certifications are an asset

**Responsibilities to the site**
- maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
- conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment
- track & resolve deficiencies in a timely manner which may require performing handyman services to ensure minor repairs and deficiencies are resolved
- Ensure project team adheres to provided timelines and deliverables
- Solve any issues that may arise during the project
- Manage and build relationships with multiple teams

**Responsibilities to the VP and PM team**
- Support the construction VP in the management, projects coordination, and administrative functions with the management team, site supervisors, and builders
- Keep the Construction VP informed of the status of all projects in which he/she is involved; Coordinate with marketing and sales department and consultants and to provide updates of project progress to management teams and key stakeholder
- Oversee, monitor, and report project management to ensure effective milestone planning and completion of deliverables on time and on budget
- prepare schedules, work progress, production and other reports or documentation throughout the length of the project
- Manage day-to-day activities for the Project Management team

**Responsibilities to the clients and design team**
- Prepare construction update/newsletter for the stakeholders

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
