**Job Title**: Data Asset Management Specialist
**Location**: National Capital Region (NCR) - Client Headquarters
**Position Type**: Contract (April 2025 - October 2025, with a high chance of extension)

**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled **Data Asset Management Specialist** to support our **Client** in the management and analysis of critical enterprise data assets. This role will involve an Agile approach to inventorying, cataloguing, and strategically analyzing data assets within specific client environments. The specialist will ensure compliance with the client's data governance policies, focusing on data binding strategies, metadata management, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

The resource will be primarily required to work onsite at the **Client’s Headquarters** in the National Capital Region (NCR) and must be capable of visiting other client sites within NCR as needed. The contract duration is from **April 2025 to October 2025**, with a **high chance of extension** based on project needs and performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Asset Inventory & Cataloguing**: Conduct a comprehensive inventory of the client’s business data assets, ensuring all relevant assets are captured.
- **Data Analysis & Documentation**:

- Assess data sources, quality, and sensitivity.
- Document business use cases, value propositions, and governance policies.
- Analyze security and privacy requirements for data assets.
- Develop and maintain business data dictionaries, glossaries, and metadata.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Identify and collaborate with data asset owners and users to ensure alignment and smooth data management processes.
- **Metadata Binding Strategy Development**: Develop and implement binding strategies for data assets, ensuring compliance with the client's minimum metadata requirements.
- **Data Analytics Support**: Assist with the creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other reporting tools that leverage data assets for organizational insights.
- **Training & Ongoing Support**: Provide training on data management best practices and offer ongoing support to stakeholders to ensure effective data usage.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in data management, data cataloguing, and metadata management.
- Familiarity with data governance policies and regulations is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and facilitate communication across teams.
- Experience in Agile development processes is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data quality, sensitivity assessments, and security/privacy requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite at the Client Headquarters and visit other client sites within the National Capital Region (NCR) as required.
- **Enhanced Reliability** security clearance (Federal Government) is required or must be obtained.

This is an independent consultant position for contract work with a Kyndryl client and is not a direct staff position with Kyndryl
