We are currently seeking a Data Conversion Specialist to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

**How You’ll Help Us**:
As an IT Service Management (ITSM), Senior Data Conversion Specialist, you will use your wide array of knowledge to provide support to our clients. If you are passionate about technology and are solution driven, you will be a great fit for our team. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with a talented project team and our clients to design, build and evolve the tool.

Effective software design is key to keeping a development project on track long term. Through your effective design efforts, we will deliver a complete and effective tool. In addition, your expertise will help us during the pre-sales phase to make sure we have the best possible chance of winning contracts. Finally, your guidance will help less experienced developers grow in their development skills resulting in an overall better team.

**Once You Are Here, You Will**:

- Develop and update ITSM documentation such as; system interface and design requirements, process, design or build documents
- Plan, configure, build, test, document and release the ITSM software suite, for all major and minor releases
- Produce, manage, and implement data migration plans for the migration of existing data sources
- Generate data migration process reports
- Perform gap analysis and any required development related ITSM integration and data migration
- Provide ITSM knowledge transfer to engineering, lifecycle management and in-service support users when warranted, and when releases are implemented

**Required Qualifications**:

- Hold a Government of Canada Secret Clearance or ability to be cleared to Secret.
- ITIL certification (minimum V3)
- 5+ years managing ITSM related data conversion and integration
- 3+ years IFS Assyst configuration management database (CMDB) version 10 or higher
- 3+ years’ experience in a large-scale organization with at least 25,000 database users
- 3+ years of hands-on data migration planning and implementation activities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
