CPC Pumps specializes in designing, manufacturing, testing, and servicing of engineered heavy duty process centrifugal pumps (fully API 610 Compliant) for the CCUS, Green Energy / Circular Economy, H2, LNG, Chem-Petrochem and power-generating industry since 1957.

CPC Pumps is looking for a talented professional to join our team to fill the role of **Supply Chain Manager.**

**Purpose**

The **Supply Chain Manager** manages and develops global supply chain and assists their team in procuring goods and services at the best possible terms for the company including price. They evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and review the supplier product quality.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Establish and Manage Global supply chain in accordance with company guidelines, policies and terms to support the customer satisfaction, growth and profit targets
- Tender, negotiate, purchase, supplies, services (machining, fabrication, calibration), equipment, raw materials for inventory and non-stock items per QA requirements, and Engineering and Customer Specifications
- Preparation of Purchase Orders and supporting documentation
- Preliminary sourcing of materials and pricing for Sales to fulfill bid opportunities
- Expedite Purchase Orders as required
- Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking quality and service
- Investigate and determine what/how/why material came in incorrectly or damaged (for non-conformances)
- Developing organization’s purchasing strategy
- Assist other Teams and Departments as necessary to ensure smooth order execution.
- Hire, training and supervising the work of other staff members
- Attending meetings and trade conferences
- Purchase all related capital equipment for production
- Supplier audits in conjunction with the QA/Safety Manager
- Process Payments and invoices
- Responsible for all building Maintained
- Resolve all vendor CPC disputes

**Qualification Requirements**
- Solid computer and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
- Proficient in ERP Systems (Accpac or SAP is an asset)

**Education and/or Experience**
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience in dealing with API 610 pump suppliers
- University / College degree in Engineering and/or Supply Chain Management is an asset
- Knowledge of ASME, ASTM, & API Standards
- Understand Markets and Trends

**Physical Demands**
- Office environment involves sedentary work with repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where problems occur and workload is heavy

**Work Environment**
- Work environment involves primarily working in an office setting with occasional site visits in a warehouse setting
- Warehouse environment involves ability to work in a high noise area, work around forklifts, machines, and equipment.
- Must wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel toed boots, while in warehouse
- Must be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures
- **50% travel includes visits to vendors and/or customers**
