VPC Group Inc., is looking for a skilled and experienced Lead Hand to join our team. As a Lead Hand, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our warehouse. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills and mechanical knowledge.

**Duties**:

- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
- Lead a team of warehouse workers, providing guidance and support
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Operate equipment's as needed
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects
- Manage a production team of hourly direct reports. Provide coaching and guidance in a non-unionized environment.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, and in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management

**Skills**:

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during production
- Computer skills (MS Office)
