Footprints Security is a 100% locally owned and operated security and guest services provider, proudly serving Vancouver Island since 1980. Footprints Security is seeking an experienced and energetic administrative professional to join our Head Office team in an Office** Administrator** role. **General Responsibilities**: - Complete a variety of complex and detail-oriented administrative tasks in support of the Central Island operation - Prepare, maintain, and distribute various reports both internally and externally - Maintain accurate and organized company file systems and operational equipment and uniform inventories - Manage multiple simultaneous and competing priorities effectively and efficiently, within mínimal supervision - Complete data entry of confidential information in a timely and accurate manner - Follow-up with and act as a liaison with various individuals, both internally and externally, at all levels of the organization with the highest level of customer service - Organizing and maintaining a filing system; managing purging documents - Assistance with the onboarding process for field employees using an Applicant Tracking system (ATS) - Provide support and coverage to other roles within in the organization: - Perform dispatch duties; extensive time spent on the phone, scheduling employees, taking short-notice service requests, responding to questions, and initiating appropriate responses to requests. - Be knowledgeable of the service intake process and distributing information to the operational team - Reception duties including answering phone and greeting individuals to the office - Perform in an accountable work environment - Special projects and other duties as assigned **Required Qualifications and Skills**: - University degree preferred; will consider combination of other education and experience - Intermediate computer skills assumed, including Intermediate Microsoft skills - Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative and/or operational role in a busy, dynamic office environment - Valid Class 5 or 7 BC Drivers License - A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to jump in and assist - Ability to be productive and efficient with limited supervision - Eagerness and ability to learn quickly - Ability to work with precision and accuracy while demonstrating attention to detail - Strong organizational and planning skills in an office environment with fluctuating volumes and demands - Ability to mitigate problems and find creative solutions - Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task while prioritizing work - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail - Able to safely handle the physical elements of the position, which includes lifting (
