Currently we have a multi-year contract agreement with BCHydro’s distribution/transmission departments for Vancouver Island. Our office is a small team that provides support for over fifty of our crew across Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast and are looking for a new Administrator to join the team.

**Job Duties**:

- Create new hire packages for incoming employees;
- Maintain records for employees, calendars for vacation time, and other duties associated with the records and upkeep of personnel;
- Liaise with the third-party benefits coordinator and track employee’s qualification for program;
- Assist the other administrative staff on an as needed basis;
- Provide administrative support to management staff in day-to-day tasks and larger projects;
- Daily administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and answering phone calls.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of administration experience (preferably with HR or adjacent experience)
- Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Must have worked with Sage 50 or similar programs in the past
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Strong organizational skills paired with a detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
- Sage 50 Accounting (or equivalent): 1 year (preferred)
