**Job Description**:
A bid manager is accountable for devising successful strategies for the bidding process, overseeing resources, and ensuring adherence to client requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- As a bid manager, you will successfully position the final client brand in the market.
- You consult and clarify technical, commercial and logístical issues with our customers.
- You will develop technical solution concepts, plan offers in terms of costs and take into account deadlines and production possibilities.
- You will be in close contact with our engineering and development departments as well as our plants and regional companies.
- You present the developed solution concepts to the customer and conduct negotiations together with the respective key account managers.
- You identify and evaluate opportunities and risks in the proposal project and support claim management.

**Qualifications**:

- You have a degree in technical studies.
- In addition, you have already gained many years of experience as a Technical Bid Manager in a technical environment or in a comparable management role in sales.
- Ideally, you have experience in engineering, project management or bid management.
- You convince with knowledge in electrical drive technology, know-how in railroad technology or on-board power supply of trains is an advantage.
- You have already successfully led interdisciplinary teams and also score points with international experience.
- You are proficient in MS Office and have a business fluent command of English.
- Furthermore, you are flexible and willing to travel worldwide (approx. 20%).
