As the Manufacturing Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the department manager with product build planning and implementation. You’ll work in collaboration with the manufacturing team and cross-functional departments to oversee the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of product delivery and ensure we are meeting target deadlines and keeping on schedule. You are someone with strong communication and problem-solving skills, excellent time management and teamwork abilities. You’ll be part of a supportive and innovative team, working on exciting projects with opportunities for growth and development.

**Responsibilities**
- Support the manager with the coordination of the manufacturing process, product development, quality control and delivery.
- Responsible for Build Management activities with responsibilities for on-time delivery of work packages, co-ordination of resources, facilitating resolution of issues and producing documentary evidence for QA/QC acceptance.
- Support the manager with team meetings, communicate company information, seek employee input, manage operation huddle boards.
- Work with management to achieve production targets, schedules, utilization models, and production standards.
- Work with the Manufacturing Support team to address quality deficiencies, plan, and implement changes to machinery and/or equipment, production systems, build documentation and work methodology.
- Assist with quality control inspection system and develop production reporting procedures.
- Support the development of equipment and facility maintenance schedules and recommend appropriate upgrades and maintenance (or replacement) of machines and working areas.
- Report known and foreseeable workflow, safety, compliance, or product discrepancies, delays and/or concerns to management same day.
- Contribute to and seek input for continuous improvement of workflow efficiency and effectiveness. Leads Continuous Improvement activities (including in-process MRB’s) and has training and expertise with Lean Manufacturing tools (5s, 8 Wastes, PDCA)
- Communicate and enforce company policies and protocols.
- Organize, host and/or participate in company and team building activities.
- Support the manager with employee engagement, performance reviews, and career development.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and compliant work environment by actively participating, communicating, and implementing Occupational Health & Safety, Workplace training, and Quality Management programs.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary certificate/ diploma in an industrial trade, preferably manufacturing, and/or 3-5 years experience in skilled Manufacturing, Engineering and/or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience planning, coordinating, delegating, managing team communication, and handling escalations.
- Experience using Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems or similar.
- Intermediate level computer and technology capabilities with experience using Microsoft products, internet, quoting tools, and research.

**Security Requirements**

Canadian Government Security Clearances.
