Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, ensuring food safety and handling procedures are followed, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. **Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality of food
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role in the food industry
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of proper food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $15.30-$20.62 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
