The Technical Support Coordinator, under the direction of the Director of IT, will primarily be responsible to provide internal information technology support, such as software updates, and hardware maintenance. This position will provide technical advice and assistance to employees. This role will also troubleshoot errors and fix system issues via periodic testing, help desk tickets, and other methods. The Technical Support Coordinator must possess degree or diploma in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, web design, or a field related to the industry and three years of related experience.

**What a day looks like in this role**:

- Responsible for updates and maintenance of company’s website and intranet
- Document specifications and other technical details as required
- Document the development process and iterate as needed to continually improve and streamline the overall steps involved
- Handle all day-to-day tasks and operational activities in regards to troubleshooting and maintaining employee-specific equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, mobile devices, telephones, headsets, etc.
- Configuring, staging and shipping of mobile devices and workstation related hardware
- Set up new hires with appropriate equipment, assisting with workstation arrangements, installing applicable software/hardware/wiring, ordering equipment, and assisting with IT Orientation Tasks
- Monitoring performance and security of remote systems and perform maintenance as necessary
- Train staff on IT-related Equipment and Applications
- Provide internal information technology support, such as software updates, and hardware maintenance
- Provide technical advice and assistance to employees
- Troubleshoot errors and fix system issues via periodic testing, help desk tickets, and other methods
- Oversee the implementation, deployment, and operation of information systems and technology solutions for business needs
- Perform security and quality control testing
- Perform Onboarding/Offboarding tasks as outline in process documentation
- Provide orientation to new users of existing technology
- Perform in-person, on-site repairs of PC desktop hardware, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals
- Evaluate performance of computer systems, add in additional RAM, SSD drives if necessary, and make appropriate changes to the infrastructure
- Analyse complex business needs presented by the user community and/or customers/clients and recommend technical solutions
- Maintain and keep the company's telecommunication systems running with mínimal downtime
- Evaluate hardware and software to ensure that it meets company requirements
- Assist with the planning, approval, and implementation of technology projects
- Integrate and implement business solutions related to information technology
- Stay informed on new or emerging trends and technologies that provide clear benefits to the organization, business partners, and/or customers/clients

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Degree or diploma in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, web design, or a field related to the industry
- One year of related IT Help Desk experience
- Experience with AlayaCare administration would be an asset
- Experience with Office 365 / Exchange Online administration and user configuration
- Experience with Windows Servers and Domain User administration
- Experience with Samsung Knox Configure would be an asset
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, WordPress web engine
- Expertise with Excel spreadsheets, to create reports
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical members of the organization
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year
